Downtempo (Cult Edit)

Well where to start...I definitely was in a creative block during the early stages of this song. The stipulations were that we use material from this video to make a downtempo song. I chose to go for 84 bpm and then just chopped up the entire video into voice sample sections. From there, I rebuilt a different version of the dialogue while spinning the mood around in various directions with the instrumentation. I used a few "found objects" within the project. You can hear some at the beginning (grandfather clock, rain stick), others throughout the song (can lid chirping noise, aerosol spray, backyard bird recordings). Overall I had a lot of fun with this project and am looking forward the next! Sorry again for the late submission!
